Back in 1999, I had a strong voice from God, telling me I should start a company that focused on giving businesses a wonderful logo for the face of their company. The name “Profuzion” kept coming to mind, meaning the combination of “Professional” and “Fuzing together of minds – Designer & Client”. I created a logo at 2 am that night, and Profuzion Studio was born. Soon after starting logo design, I saw that my dad was struggling with getting his website where he needed it to be for his auction business.. so I thought “I can do website design!”… since I dabbled with website coding in high school.

In 2001, I worked in the bindery dept. at Friesens in Altona. Following that year, I took their program and earned my Graphic Arts Certificate in conjunction with Red River College. In 2003, I learned all of the programs I still use today and then some, with a Multimedia Computer Application Specialist Certificate from Robertson College, graduating at the top of my class.

Jump forward to 2021.. I realized that the momentum of the world was shifting with all the noise on social media and customers becoming wiser and more educated to who they do business with… and businesses needed more than just a pretty logo to attract customers. They needed a back story, an attraction mechanism, something for their employees and followers to jump on board with as well. In came “Brand Strategy”, where I took it upon myself to learn from some of the best Brand Strategists in the World.
